Scoreboard: How We Cover Friday Nights

Every Friday night during football season, Muddy River Sport posts a live scoreboard covering all seven Galesburg-area programs. Here is how it works.

The Friday routine

  • 6:45 p.m. — the scoreboard goes up with every game listed and scores blank. Bookmark it before kickoff.
  • Through the evening — we update as scores come in, with a timestamp so you know how fresh it is.
  • Saturday by 10 a.m. — full recaps and our Player of the Week.
  • Monday by 5 p.m. — power rankings, all seven programs ranked together.

Who we cover

Galesburg, Monmouth-Roseville, Knoxville, United, Abingdon-Avon, ROWVA/Williamsfield and West Central — across the Western Big 6, the Three Rivers Conference, the Lincoln Trail-Prairieland league and the I8FA eight-man ranks.

Send us a score

This is the part that matters. We are one site covering seven programs across four league structures, and we cannot be at every stadium.

If you are at a game — coach, parent, student, or just someone in the bleachers — send us the score. Final or in progress, both help. We post them as they come in and we correct errors the same day.

That is the whole ask. Just the score.
