Prairieland Conference: teams and our local tie

The Prairieland Conference is a small-school athletic league across west-central Illinois, centered on Fulton, McDonough, Mason, Schuyler and neighboring counties. Its footprint reaches the edge of Muddy River Sport’s coverage area through the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans.

Member schools

Member and cooperative programs include Bushnell-Prairie City, Macomb, Havana, Lewistown, Rushville-Industry, Elmwood, Brimfield, Cuba, Astoria, West Prairie and Spoon River Valley, among others. Membership shifts periodically as small schools form cooperatives and realign.

Our local tie: Bushnell-Prairie City

Bushnell-Prairie City is the Prairieland program closest to our coverage area. The Spartans compete across the conference calendar, and Muddy River Sport follows them through the season. See more on our Bushnell-Prairie City page.
