Monmouth-Roseville Titans Girls Basketball: 2026-27 Schedule and History
Monmouth-Roseville Titans · Monmouth, Illinois · Three Rivers Conference West
Coach: Don Luper · All-time: 329-254 (.564) · 20 recorded seasons
Monmouth-Roseville girls basketball has won two regional titles, both recently, and has just changed coach after the most successful run in its history.
Scott Weber’s seven years
142-62 — a .696 record — from 2018-19 to 2024-25.
Under him the Titans won Class 2A regional championships in 2022-23 and 2024-25, the only two in the programme’s twenty-year existence. The last three documented seasons: 26-7, then 21-12, then 21-11.
Twenty-six wins in 2022-23 is the programme record.
A new coach
MaxPreps lists Don Luper as head coach for 2026-27, with Megan Robinson and Hailey Emerick assisting. The IHSA’s last coach of record is Weber in 2024-25.
We flag this as single-source — we have not been able to corroborate the change anywhere else — but the two records are consistent with a handover rather than in conflict.
The full record
Regional titles (2): 2022-23, 2024-25. Sectionals: none. State finals: none.
Across twenty seasons since 2005-06, the Titans have reached the sectional round twice and lost it twice. The all-time mark of 329-254 is a winning one, which puts them ahead of Bureau Valley, Galva, United and West Central among area girls programmes.
The IHSA has no 2025-26 row, so last season is unrecorded.
The predecessor records we could not reach
An honest limitation. We wanted to give you the pre-consolidation history for Monmouth High School, Monmouth (Warren) and Roseville girls basketball, and we could not.
The IHSA’s alphabetical pages truncate part-way through each letter — the M page cuts off at McLeansboro, before Monmouth; the R page at Rockford, before Roseville. The per-school pages that would work instead cannot be reached, because their numeric IDs are not ordered by town and there is no index linking them.
So we do not know what those three programmes won, and their absence here is not evidence they won nothing. We would rather say that than leave a gap readers might misread.
What we do know, from the volleyball side of the same archive: Roseville volleyball won eleven regionals, three sectionals and reached the state finals in 2004-05, and Monmouth High School reached the volleyball state finals in 1979-80. The girls sporting history in these two towns is deeper than the current record shows.
How it compares to Mon-Rose volleyball
Volleyball carries 268-238 with a single regional title, won in the programme’s first year, 2009-10, and nothing since. Basketball has two regionals, both in the last four years, and a better winning percentage.
Both files stop at 2024-25. Whatever changed in the district’s reporting, it affected the girls sports together.
2026-27 schedule
Monmouth-Roseville have one of the fullest girls listings in the area — around thirty games posted. IHSA girls practice is scheduled to open Monday, November 2.
We will publish the full schedule on this page as soon as it is posted, and update results through the season.
Finding Monmouth-Roseville online
Monmouth is a crowded name. There is a Monmouth in New Jersey with a university, a Monmouth in Oregon, and Monmouth in Wales. The IHSA files this school as Monmouth (M.-Roseville) and the predecessor as Monmouth (H.S.). MaxPreps uses Monmouth-Roseville Titans. Searching “Titans” alone is no help either — every other school in America uses it. “Monmouth-Roseville Illinois” is the phrase that works.
Note also that Monmouth College, a Division III school, is in the same town and dominates searches for “Monmouth basketball”. Coverage of Lincoln Trail basketball is thin in general. MaxPreps carries schedules and scores when schools update them, which is inconsistent at this level. The IHSA’s record pages are authoritative but frequently years behind. No local outlet runs a nightly area scoreboard in winter.
We will post results on this page through the season. If you have a score before we do, send it and it goes up with credit.
What we are still chasing
- Confirmation of the coaching change from Scott Weber to Don Luper
- The 2025-26 season record
- All-time records for Monmouth (H.S.), Monmouth (Warren) and Roseville girls basketball
- The 2026-27 roster
The town
Monmouth-Roseville CUSD 238 was formed in 2005 by consolidating Monmouth and Roseville high schools. The high school sits in Monmouth, a Warren County town of roughly 9,000 people sixteen miles west of Galesburg.
It is the second-largest school in our coverage area and competes mostly in Class 2A — a class above most of the Lincoln Trail schools and a class below Galesburg. That middle position shapes its postseason: harder regionals than Annawan or Wethersfield face, easier ones than Galesburg.
Where Monmouth-Roseville Titans rank in the area
Across the fourteen girls basketball programmes we cover, Monmouth-Roseville Titans sit eleventh by all-time wins (329), seventh by winning percentage (.564) and twelfth by regional championships (two).
The nearest programmes by wins are Galva Wildcats above (331) and Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes below (247).
The sectional round is the wall. Monmouth-Roseville Titans have won two regional titles and lost the sectional every time — two exits at the same stage, and no sectional championship in the programme’s history.
No state finals trophy. Five area programmes have one; this is not among them.
Full comparisons for every programme, plus conference structure, season dates and how the Illinois postseason works, are on our area girls basketball guide.
